Transcript: on the 14th of June 1879 with arms and ammunition. Will the superintendant please cause Constable Healy of Melbourne to be in attendance. Should you not approve of Aaron being arrested in the way suggested by me, please let me know and the Charge can be set down on the Charge sheet the day of his surrendering to bail. M. E. Ward Det. 2358 Since writing the above I heard a rumour that I was about to be subpoenaed as a witness in the Case if so I would much rather be out of the District as I cannot stand the list. there is a prisoner here for Melbourne and I could take him to Melbourne on Saturday morning and return on Tuesday afternoon when all will be over, before going to Melbourne I could arrange all for the watching Byrns house and the arrest of Aaron.
