Transcript: a woman came out I told her to run & she did I told her she would not be hurt and told the people in the house they would not be molested if they came out and held up their hands. Cherry was shot and Jones son of the land lady Mrs Jones accused me of shooting her son I did not he died he was shot before I went there in the morning I never said to Mrs Jones that if she would say that prisoner shot her son I would forward a recommendation to Government that she should get portion of the reward I never said so never heard of it till asked the question today
